Ron Surz

Ron has held multiple senior positions in the Investment Consulting and Financial Services industry since 1972. He is the President of PPCA, Inc. which provides sophisticated investment monitoring, including Surz Style Pure ® Indexes, which are the first style boxes, preceding Morningstar. Ron is also the President of Target Date Solutions, and the designer of the patented Safe Landing Glide Path ® as well as the manager of SMART Fund ® Target Date Index. He also serves as the VP of FinTech for Paladin Research, developing innovative computerized solutions for advisors and investors. He earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business in 1974. In 1969 he earned an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and in 1967 he graduated grada cum laude from the University of Illinois, Chicago, with a BS in Applied Mathematics.
